Inter Milan were held to a 2-2 draw by Bologna at the San Siro on Saturday, despite early goals from Francesco Acerbi and Lautaro Martinez.

Inter took the lead 11 minutes in when Acerbi evaded his opponent and nodded in a header from a corner, and Martinez doubled the lead two minutes later with a powerful shot from outside the area.

Bologna cut the lead in half after 19 minutes when Riccardo Orsolini converted a penalty after a VAR review revealed Martinez had yanked Lewis Ferguson’s shirt.

Joshua Zirkzee completed the comeback seven minutes into the second half with a drive from the edge of the box that fooled Inter keeper Yann Sommer and found the bottom corner of the net.

This was Joshua Kirkzee’s second goal in Serie A this season.

Inter are second in the table with 19 points, two points behind AC Milan, who overcame Genoa on Saturday. Bologna is ranked eighth.
