Simone Inzaghi, the coach of Inter Milan, has agreed to a new deal that will keep him with the team through 2025, the Serie A team said on Tuesday.
The Italian manager, 47, began his coaching career in Serie A with Lazio before moving on to Inter in 2021. At the completion of the current campaign, his current contract with Inter was due to expire.
Inter was led by Inzaghi to Coppa Italia victories in 2021–22 and 2022–23, Supercoppa Italiana victories in 2021 and 2022, and this year’s Champions League final, when they lost to Manchester City.
“Inter Milan is happy to announce the contract renewal of coach Simone Inzaghi. Thanks to the new agreement, the coach will be at the helm of the Nerazzurri until 2025,” Inter said in a statement.
